Job Description:
Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
Essential Functions:
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Acts as deputy program manager on major (Tier 1 or Tier 2) programs.
Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
Expands the product line with the customer.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Qualifications:
Requires strong knowledge of job area.
Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.
May have broad knowledge of project management.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management systems (EVMS) Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree or a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance.
PMP Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.
Earned Value (EV) and Cost Account Management (CAM) experience, managing programs with large production with signiifcnat material/sourcing scope of work Preferred Additional Skills:

Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication) Prior experience as a Program Manager to government customer Active Secret Clearance In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $186,000.
This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
