oPerforms functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
oUses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
oDetermines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
oWorks with engineers in conducting experiments.
oHandling and managing fragile composite materials.
oBond, prep and bonding of composite structures to metallic fittings.
oNotate usage, traceability, pot life, and out time controls on all adhesive materials used.
oReport data and interface with other employees and departments.
oTooling preparation and release application.
oUtilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware.
oReading and understanding manufacturing blue prints and shop planningoAssist in maintaining overall shop appearance and cleanliness.
Education Qualification :
High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of additional education and/or related experience for this position.
