Electronics Technician

oShould have finished (minimum of two years) an electrical engineering school (Associate degree)
oGood knowledge and understanding of electronics and computer science
oMinimum of five year experience as a technician or engineer
oElectrical engineering skills:
oRead schematic
oTroubleshoot digital and analog circuits to component level
oSelect components
oWork with voltmeter and oscilloscope.
oGood understanding of ESD safety procedures
oAbility to solder and de-solder small SMD components using a microscope
oComputer skills:
o Microsoft word
o Microsoft power point
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft Project
o Networking concepts
o LabView
o Attention to details and well organized
o Dependable, hard working with good knowledge of English language
o Be flexible to work both shifts, first and second
o Observes production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail.
Competency Requirements
Tools and Subject Domain Competencies:
o two+ years product development background
o Troubleshoot digital and analog circuits to component level
o Select components
o Work with voltmeter and oscilloscope.
o Good understanding of ESD safety procedures
o Experience of creating User and Technical Documentation
o Proficiency in MS Word
o Some experience / background in optics
o Some experience in optical test equipment (optical power meters, OSA, Cleaning techniques)
